Worst Security Department and Customer Support EVER!

A stranger ( an anonymous person) had made 3 purchases of $267 overnight on my Walmart Credit card. These transactions were charged on my PayPal account that’s linked to the Walmart master card. Next morning as soon as I noticed the charges, immediately called both PayPal and Walmart, and reported the fraud to them. I was told to give them a few days to investigate the fraud. Long story short they both approved that this was a fraud case. So, The PayPal ( merchant) paid Walmart the amount that was stolen from me, however, the Walmart still keeps billing me the amounts of $801 on my statements. Every time I called the Walmart’s master card customer service, the call gets transferred to a foreign country ( mostly Philippines), they take all my information to verify my call then they say I must be transferred to their security department, and after a long wait it rings a couple of times and my call gets disconnected. I kept trying many times and finally were able to talk to their security department they made an excuse that the amount was double credited ( which Walmart fails to provide me a proof if they deposited the amount on the card). As soon as I request them to send me the proof for their claim my call gets immediately disconnected. Walmart is supposed to send me a bill with a zero balance since they received the stolen money paid them by PayPal, but still wants to charge me for that. This is absolutely unfair. I am just sharing my story with public then people will give it a second thought before signing up for the Walmart master card. They have zero customer protection. Do not fall in the trap.
I called Walmart Master Card customer service about two frauds on my Mastercard. I spoke to an employee who spoke English with a very heavy Indian accent. I couldn't understand what he was saying, and I tried to explain to him what I meant and what my problem was. Unfortunately, I couldn't explain it to him. They have very bad customer service; they hire people who don't know English well.

I don't use Uber Eats and somehow someone in a different city used it three times. Thank god I check my card often and caught it the next day. I called the fraud department. They took two charges off and deemed the third one legitimate. Do not get this card! They are probably running a scam with Uber Eats. Not sure how they can get the money back from them.
I am giving this card no stars for it is the worst automated service and also customer service.
When I received my bill I saw 2 charges on my bill from the states. It was regarding free samples I ordered from a site They charged Walmart Mastercard 2 charges over $100.00 within 2 weeks apart. I phoned Mastercard the automated service would not let me in because I changed my phone number. after phoning frequently I finally got customer service. I referred to the Dispute department. The agent said she would have to check my records and would call me back. I waited 2 days no callback. I phoned again the agent said again they would give me a callback. No callback... I phoned again this time they did not get my pin and was referred to the automated service. What did I get the survey at the end of the phone call. I phone again. I finally get the Dispute department. The girl could not speak English all she could say is Dispute, Dispute. I told her to give me a new card with only five hundred limits. She said something I did not understand. I waited for my new card. No new card just a bill with 2 new charges and the kick-off she upped my credit limit. So I phoned again no pin was transferred to the automated service again. Got the survey again, and phoned again by this time I was furious so I told them that they caused the charges and would not pay the bills.
When you're behind on your bills they call up to 8 times a day. When you pick up no one is ever there... If you let it go, they leave blank messages in your voicemail. So how the hell are you supposed to talk to someone for support? It's horrible.
Access to your account is nonexistent as they have no app support to view anything. Everything must be done through a web browser. It's nearly 2023. Why is there no app support?!
Payment to the card is terrible compared to other cards. Need to go to the store, e-pay or e-transfer.

I have had my Mastercard for 4 whole days and already have a hold on it. When I called, the agent said they couldn’t help me as it was too close to closing time and they would call me tomorrow. My card has been shredded and sent back to them.
I will never deal with Mastercard again. Thank god for Visa.
To all the customers, who are reading this review right now, please don’t purchase this Walmart Rewards Mastercard. This is a total waste of time. The cashier in the STC somehow convinced me to get this card. Didn’t even explain clearly. She was just saying I just need your ID and you can get this much discount. She did not even say about this card. Later on, when I came to know about this card, it was too late. After 11 days, I got my card. I called customer service to activate it. But when I tried to register on the site. I was not able to do this. Even after so many tries. I called 3-4 times to customer service again to know the reason but every single time they told me to try again 15-20 minutes later. I tried for 5-6 hours. Still not able to register so that I can pay for the bill online. What nonsense! I will cancel this card soon. One of the biggest mistakes!
I had a Walmart Rewards MC it was fine until they upgraded to the World Mastercard. Then two fraud attempts. At the latest, I’ve been overcharged for a cheque in the USA for $5988.00 and I’ve never been to the USA and don’t have a passport to go there. The Walmart fraud department has been useless telling me they will cancel the amount on my statements but then it still shows up when I call for my balance. I phoned this morning and explained to three people my situation and the last told me she will call me tomorrow after she investigates again. No sense talking to Walmart Financial customer service. Stay away from these crooks, they lure you in with rewards points and then rake you over.

Walmart is a terrible company to hold a credit card with! Terrible customer service which ends most of the time with unresolved issues, or drops calls!
I've called dozens of times to resolve issues, still not resolved, and on my most recent call, after 27minutes of time to dispute transactions AGAIN, the call went silent, as if put on hold, as the call was still showing connected, but no one returned to the call. After 10 minutes the call went to their survey and my issues again were left unresolved.
I actually found out during the call that I was refunded one of my disputed charges from a company months ago, yet not reversed and given back my interest from Walmart for this disputed charge, totalling $26 in interest.
I asked why it had not been credited back to me and they replied " it had not been applied to date". I asked for it to be applied, given they had already 3 months to do this, and she said she'd credit me $20 in interest and apply the $6 and change to my Rewards Balance! After telling her no, and asking why I would not want all my interest back, for a charge I never agreed to, just $20 of my interest charged back and $6 I would HAVE to spend in my REWARDS BALANCE where she would apply it, she could not answer why and told me ok she would put reverse all the interest, my call went silent. Unresolved AGAIN...like every call I make.
Their online site gives you minimal information...not ALL the information YOU should have.
They charge ridiculous interest!
To make a payment, it is not easy... and even when paying at their store, with cash, it took my payment 5 days to be applied to my card, when it should have been that same day, as I am informed it should take!
They are wrecking my credit, while It is not responsible, but THEM, for not dealing with disputed purchases, not reversing interest and fees when they should, and NOT treating their customers fairly, and in line with their contract details!
We need to get together and find a legal group to fight this! Why are we paying these high-interest rates, dealing with their issues, and having our credit hurt, when they ARE NOT ABIDING BY THEIR CONTRACT RESPONSIBILITIES?!
In addition, customer representatives fail to give you their names most of the time. The last one said they were forwarding me to ANOTHER department, even though she was the department I needed, and when I asked for her name, she hung up the call on me.

I received my Walmart Rewards Mastercard on June 26 of this year. By July 2nd it was on it's second “Security Investigation” for “abnormal activity”, no kidding… it had no activity history, I just received it, so wouldn't any activity be considered abnormal at this point?! It is now September 17th and the card is still under “Security Investigation” and none of their Security Department Agents can assist me. They just tell me to be patient and wait for someone to call me back. The first security investigation I was told occurred because I used the card, which they told me to do to earn the rewards I was promised. The second security investigation was because I tried to use the card at a dollar store! In the meantime, I am denied access to my online account to see what, if anything, is happening on the card and can't see my balance or if the 'insurance product' that I cancelled the day I received the card is indeed cancelled or if I'm being charged anything. It's completely frustrating! I do not understand why if my card is under security investigation is the security department can't help me? They say it's for my security, umm not feeling so secure when I can't see if there has been any activity on my account. Seems like a complete scam to me.
