I pay insurance. They say they will be there when I need help. They’re no where to be found.

You apply to insurance to follow the laws of your province.
Though, you pick the insurance that you think will fit your needs best.
Especially when accidents happen, whether at fault or not.
You pay money into their program, hopefully for the coverage that aids you best.
This company doesn't care you pay them for their coverage.
They dropped our coverage because we are “high Risk” even though we also paid a fee for the coverage. Plus, we paid minimum rates they don't cover.
Then they tried to sell us to a sister company and then in a year we could go back like we'd want to go back to a company that doesn't want to cover us when we pay for their coverage.
Don't go with cooperators unless your car only sits in your driveway.
Have filed a claim last year with evidences that the other driver was recklessly driving which caused the accident. They balantly lied and said reckless driving cases are only reviewed by police and since Police didn't arrive at the scene, I am at fault and they can't investigate this issue. However, upon contacting IBC, I found out insurances are suppose to investigate these claims to determine fault. Since then, I've followed up with my insurance multiple times and they keep ignoring my query. This is the worst insurance provider ever. Just look at every other reviews. Do not insurance with them under any circumstances. You want to reduce headache, not increase them.
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
I’m switching insurance, insensitive and uneducated staff that don’t get back to their clients and pretend they never spoke to me when I have the phone records.
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding my recent experience with your insurance company.
To my surprise, I discovered a cancellation fee of $224.27, which I find excessive given the short duration of coverage. What adds to my dismay is the deduction of the down payment of $397.92 for just 9 days of coverage from December 22 to December 31. I believe it is only fair to consider one month as 30 days, not 8 days, making the charge seem exorbitant for the period in question.
Subsequent to the cancellation by the co-operator, I promptly secured alternative car insurance, which I am now paying approximately $230 per month. However, your expectation that I pay $622 for a mere 19 days of coverage is both unreasonable and disappointing. It is disheartening to be charged such an amount when I am now paying significantly less for a month of coverage with another provider.
I'm having a difficult time with this insurance company. I was misquoted TWICE by agents. First agent told me a price monthly only to receive a request for 4 times the amount in April. I canceled and went with the basic however I needed my car on the road for a few day in September. Spoke with this lady, confirm the price over 3 times with this agent due to previous experience. After using the service for a month this company is trying to charge me 3 times more the amount than quoted. Had my calls escalated, it was reviewed and the manager confirms the agent told me a particular price but still requesting for me to pay the overcharged amount. I need this issue to be escalated again however they're demanding I pay the extra money. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!!! They always try to overcharged their customers
If I could give ZERO stars I would Worst insurance company ever!!!! DO NOT go with Cooperators if you get into an accident they will give you the run around for months!!!!!!!!! They will take your rental back within 1 week so you’re left with no car for months!!!!!! They don’t keep you updated if you get into an accident you’re basically on your own. If you’re going with an insurance company go with anyone but Cooperators trust me !!!!!
I spoke to their claim supervisor. Very rude. Instead of listening the complain of the customer, she also don’t stop talking and explaining stuff! How can you be in this situation without proper training in customer service? Awful experience.
I'm paying these people a quarter of my paycheck every month and the two times I've needed help they let me down. Please explain to me how an insurance company closes their offices all day on Sunday. Then that same day the website is down all day so you can't even log into your account and get your information.
Please explain to me how someone can hit my car and run away and I get punished with a higher bill every month for it. I'm so done with these people. They charge me every month and I get nothing for it. They are unreliable and will continually let you down go with a different insurance provider.
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Called to see about switching from my current insurance as my employer gets work perks. The cost would have been higher and the representative was a complete snob. Also told me they wouldn't accept payment plans for content insurance. What a complete joke...

I’ve paid for cooperators home and auto insurance for years. I finally made my first claim, and my handling adjuster won’t reply or reach out to me. It’s very funny how these insurance companies say they’re here for YOU. To help YOU when you need it. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. Cooperators take your money every single month. And when you finally require them for the first time in over a decade, they’re ZERO HELP. They said they would reach out within 24 hours. That never happened. So I reached out via phone and email several times and nothing.
