Insurance gets higher

Worst car insurance company ever. Forced me to renew because I purchased a car for my wife. Just needed to transfer coverage but could not do this. Older retired couple here with everything budgeted. Caused huge financial hardship. When I cancelled after years of being a faithful customer they charged me a huge penalty!!! Thanks for nothing.
For one policy change, I was on the call with representatives for hours! Unbelievable. TD system and the process is unbelievably convoluted and every step has to be approved or consent, even with the basic request of changing the date for policy.
If you have a good driving record in AB, you should pay around $110/month (women - $105/month and men - $113/month). Do you overpay? Get an Alberta car insurance quote to start saving.
Please avoid this company. On the phone for over 2 hours. Shop around! A customer service representative was rude and took over 2 hours to remove a truck off my policy
They accidentally delete one of my properties from my insurance policy and to date, I am calling them every 2nd day and they haven't resolved the issue yet. It's been over 10 days. Their computer system is always crashing and it is a complete pain to deal with them. I am in process of moving my business to another provider. If it is so painful to deal with them without any issues, what will happen if I were to file a claim.
Moved houses on July 11/2021 it is now Aug 04, still have not received a permanent pink card with the proper address. 3 customer service calls and the last conversation with a manager. I asked the manager why should I pay for terrible customer service and high rates. Why should I keep my business here? I was told if you are not happy with our services feel free to leave. That's how managers at TD resolve issues. Take your money every month and leave you on hold for hours at a time. I will be moving my business immediately.
Did you know that on average Ontario drivers with good driving records pay $1,805/year in auto insurance? Is your insurance rate higher? Get a free car insurance quote and start saving today.
I have been with TD for five years and for some reason I had to spend over 5 hours on the phone to update my policy to trade in a vehicle and get a new one added. It took four calls in total and only 20 minutes of actual talk time. Very disappointed. At the end of it, they were unable to tell me why it took so long and why the price jumped so dramatically.
I have held a policy with TD insurance for a couple of years now and recently called in to change my policy. The representative I was speaking with was patient, knowledgeable and helpful, didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time at all! In fact, she even corrected a mistake in my previous policy, and I now pay significantly less for my policy than I did previously! Definitely give TD a try!
We are trying to get an estimate to add to our auto policy. We have called 4 times at different times to add a car to our insurance policy. Each time we have been put into a queue. Each time waited for more than 30 minutes and there was no answer. There is no mention of the estimated time to reach an insurance agent and there is no call back service. We simply got frustrated and hung up.
These guys are the worst company I have ever experienced in handling their logistics for customer services. I would not recommend doing business with TD INSURANCE.
We will be looking for another insurance company for our home and automobiles upon the expiration of the policy.
Brutal - the VP of customer services should be fired.
Was calling to switch my current auto to a new vehicle and could NOT get through. Currently on hold while trying for the 5th time, 4th day in a row. If service is this terrible when I want to GIVE them business I can’t imagine IF I needed them!

My home and auto insurance rate keep getting higher every year even if I never had any claims. This year, I got my full G licence and instead of getting a lower rate, they increase my auto insurance by more than 70cad per month. Needless to say, I switched to another insurance company.
