1st not my fault but took way too long to settle and was told outcome would come in a week. 3 months+ later. Now waiting on another claim and they cannot be found. Horrible service for the money spent. My brokers are doing the best they can, but this company is terrible, and I agree with the warning of others recommending going else where. Anywhere for that matter than Aviva. Take a chance with that dodgy company from India before trusting these folks. More or less at least some factors in play.
I have been disgusted by Aviva, there staff are ignorant and abusive and the simply fail to respond to claims in a reasonable time frame.
I had a vehcile accident on the 6th of October 2023, I filed a claim on the 20th of October 2023... it is now almost 6 months later on the 28th of March 2024 and the ignorant and incompentant staff will simple not respond to a request for an update.
I have send over 20 emails on an almost weekly basis and every single email is ignored.
These people are horrible, ignorant, rude and simply people who go about their lives punishing others and blaming others for their own unhappiness.
DO NOT PURCHASE AVIVA CAR INSURANCE - THEY IGNORE CLAIMS.

Aviva is a horrible company to deal with. Extremely slow at settling claims, unfair and unethical appraisal values. What an awful company to have to deal with.

Still no settlement. It's been 210 days since accident. Unbelievable.
Voice-mail, email no response. No one at aviva seems to care.
Poor response time to insrance claim. Poor communication from agent, limited support in a difficult time. Searching elsewhere after years of payments. Disappointing experience overall.
If I could give them 0 stars, I would. The worst insurance company ever. The customer service is disorganized and unprofessional. The claims department is the slowest process and only creates more stress for their customers. I’d literally pay double or triple to insure myself anywhere else!!! Don’t waste your time or money here
Insurance CO’s obligation is to return your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. Does Aviva know?
Absolutely terrible service from Aviva. Go anywhere else for your insurance needs. When they owe you $, good luck getting anything. Good luck even getting a response. It's been a month since I received any communication from my adjuster. It feels like they have stolen my car and disappeared now.
So, I had a collision back in March 2019. I didn't want a claim as it was minor scratches; my car still runs fine. After going to the collision reporting center, they made a claim automatically for me despite me telling them I wasn't going through insurance. That happened right in the collision reporting center, be careful! The next day I'm contacted by a claims adjuster. He was very friendly. I told him I didn't want a claim but he said that now that they know about the collision and the claim has been opened, he can't close it and that it will impact my policy anyway. So since I was already going to get screwed, I thought I might as well go through with the claim. Well, after some back and forth, the claims adjuster, as well as the "recommended" body shop, screwed up after I took my car in for an estimate. I gave them the claims number and called my insurance adjuster on it. I was very polite as well as the "recommended" body shop. I told him that he needs to look into the issue and get back to me. That was 36 months ago. I haven't heard from him since. I still check my e-mail for updates, I'm still driving around in a damaged car. OH! I've also paid more in additional premium over the past 3 years than the estimate from the body shop to fix my damn car, yet Aviva has paid out $0 on the claim. So, they've made their money back from me.... on a claim that they never paid out on. Cool stuff.

I have been with aviva for about 5 years. This is the first time ever I got into an accident and they treated me very badly. Customer service is just horrible. Some of the employees should be in FBI the way they ask questions. I wasn’t even at fault and my belongings got damaged and of course insurance has to pay for the damages. But they asked me 10 times how this and that happened, sent all the proofs but still they were not satisfied, and they were acting like a cry baby and were dying to pay the damages around $700. I mean we pay high-end insurance not for you guys to ask these nonsense questions. Employees act like they own this company, and they have to pay outta their pockets. 4 members of my family have insurance with this company, and we all will take our business somewhere else. Will never ever recommend anyone to go with this insurance.
Moreover, they don’t even care about the reviews, as I read people aren’t satisfied with the services provided by them.
