I was refused a credit card even though I had never in my whole life had a problem with my credit score. I have 2 other major credit cards and I am mortgage-free. This is a total joke of a bank. Reading the reviews Actually, I am glad I was not approved.
Slow service aside (every process takes a minimum of 2 weeks to go through), every time I talk to customer service they are rude and condescending. They don't care about any individual case, whatever the situation they would repeat the same information from a script. On top of that, they are inconsistent with important information such as reward rates and credit limit increase time limits. Never have I seen such incompetence.
Additionally, because they are a small company, transactions and payments also take a long time to process. If you need your credit card to pay any important bills, I would go to literately any other credit card company. The "cash back rewards" aren't worth it.

Rogers Bank is a joke to deal with.
They have no automatic payment despite it being promised long ago.
They have no paper statements so if they add charges as they did on mine there is no way to know without checking online. So I end up with a mark on my credit even tho my balance was paid in full.
They have no email alerts.
PLEASE JUST GO ELSEWHERE for you own sanity
I sent an email for PAD request with the attachment of void check and signed PAD form Nov 18, 2019. Then, by Dec 1st week, I called but no status and by Dec 9, I got an email that I talked to them and will contact me. Then by Jan 22, still no status and then asking me to resend again. I had applied the same process, sending a similar signed form to another card another company and only one week's process. Rogers takes forever...
