Something as simple as a phone number update will put the card on the block for weeks. I was promised a callback, but never happened. Incompetent staff won't solve anything for you. I would give it 0 stars if possible.
I've been almost forced to get this card while I was purchasing my phone and never used it never even activate it. Now I'm applying for a loan and noticed that my card was used after filing the police report and all back and forth Rogers bank was not even cooperating to providing the letters that can help me to remove it from my credit score even when I pay the balance on the card. I don't suggest it to anyone especially since they don't even have a physical office and poor customer service.

My card was cancelled due to inactivity - with no notice to me. Apparently, it's buried in the fine print somewhere that they aren't required to notify customers. What kind of nonsense is that? I had a Rewards balance of over $200 that they say they are not required to give me now that my account is closed. How can they get away with taking Rewards that customers have earned? Their attitude is terrible. Save yourself the grief and don't get one of these cards. I'm sorry I ever had one.
I had a Rogers Bank Mastercard along with a couple of others that I use periodically. When I was using the Rogers bank card there were really no issues. I used it and paid the balance every month and they increased the limit a couple of times.
I started using another card all the time and when I went to use the Rogers Bank Mastercard the tap didn't work. I called the company and to my surprise, they told me the card had been cancelled because I wasn't using it enough and I would need to apply for a new one... I refused and hung up. What kind of a business model is that? They didn't even tell me they were going to cancel it!!!
Making a payment takes 5 business days getting a refund takes a full month's fees left and right, what where and how much you spend is a close garden's secret under the heading pending. What is never in question and is lightning speed is deductions and their info protect. Basically, they do protect you from your money or knowing what happened to it. So if you have other options don't get it!

This is so bad. Dealing with Rogers overall is the worst experience I've ever had. I called cause there was some fraud on my account. They tell me they can't do anything???? My credit score dropped because someone used this card without me knowing. I've never used this card, I never even activated it. I only took it cause it was giving me a discount on my cellphone. Now I'm screwed and I spent 3 hours on the phone with them. Result: NOTHING and they hang up on me!!!! I am so mad, this is the worst and should be reported to the authorities.
They issued me this card and then after a while, they stopped my online access. In-store employees can’t help with this and contacting them via phone doesn’t work easily. Although I paid them in advance and my balance was in plus but they blocked my card after two-three months themselves saying that they couldn’t verify or something lame reason. This might have impacted my credit score. Stay away from these cheaters.
They can’t send a replacement card outside of Canada. How lame as they are a MasterCard that considered a worldwide product. They said it is for security issues and they have a special agreement with Canada Post. Don’t deal with them as they obviously don’t care about their end customer on helping them out during being stuck in a foreign country while in Covid19 times.

I used this card for an annual subscription for a service. When it was up for renewal, they informed me that my credit card was declined. I had to beg the company to not allow me to lose the existing customer benefits because Rogers blocked the card and didn't notify me. When I contacted Rogers customer service, they told me it is because they couldn't send me the statement in the mail. They had the right address and I get all my other bills and bank statements so I don't know why Rogers has trouble and couldn't call to verify this. I have an online account so it is strange that they didn't email or call me to tell me they were blocking my card. Terrible product and service.
We never carry a balance, making furniture purchases so need more room on the card. Transferred extra money on the card to free up credit limit, cover balances plus an additional $5000 overpayment to basically give us $15,000 to spend. On our Rodgers account it showed we were in a positive balance. When we went to use our card it was denied, we phoned customer service and got the total run around, asked to talk to a manager, and were told they will call back in 5 days. We canceled the card and told them to pay off the balance with our overpayment and refund our balance. They would not do this and told us to go to our bank and have them contact Rodgers and have them request our refund.
I have never in my life experienced such incompetence, there are so many better options out there I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
