Capital One may answer your call to them, but if they do, you will almost immediately be put on hold. When someone answers eventually, they will not be able to help you and will transfer you. You will be on hold again. I was once on hold for over 2 hours, after having been transferred 8 times! Was my relatively simple issue resolved? NO! My last experience, I was told I would be on hold about 10 minutes (higher than average call volume they said - they say this every time you call). After more than an hour, I called from another phone. After 10 minutes on hold there, I was told that the other line I was on hold for (security) had closed an hour ago! How can a credit card company not offer 24-hour service? Why Costco Canada promotes Capital One is beyond me. For a company (Costco) that provides superior customer service, they do themselves a serious disservice promoting a card with no customer service whatsoever.
Where to start? Can't even contact anyone, even the automated service to find out how much is my statement and I know that the number showing online is incorrect. My name has changed and can't contact anyone to get a new card...
Terrible and unprofessional by far. 5 years loyalty and will never offer you a credit increase. It is an entry level company and old fashioned customer service. They don't care about you in any way! Terrible customer service. They declined my wife for no reason! She has 850 Cc score! She is offered tons of Credit cards by other banks! When I called them and asked - why did you decline my wife, they said talk to your bank!!! That tells me one thing - staff are uneducated about credit products. NOT RECOMMENDED
