Non professional company

After a car accident that by police report I have zero faults from my side, finally been referred to a body shop to fix my car. I have been told that the bumper will be replaced and fixed probably with a new one to find out that it looks so fake. I was trying to contact the insurance company since with very poor customer service in terms of time commitment. After three days and everyday call and been promised of someone will call me back am still waiting with the body shop insisting on a good job that my 13 years old boy can see is a bad job!

I was in a bit of a panic as my insurance was running out and I still had my BC plates on. Belair called me back within the hour, and my policy started the next day. Phew! Good service.

Poor Service

It used to be a pleasure to deal with Belair's call centre. Staff were knowledgeable and gave good service. In the last two years however, it has deteriorated terribly. Staff have little insurance knowledge, or interest in service, and just want to fill in blanks.
Filing a complaint is no good either because that just results in rude harassing telephone calls from the complaints department.
I have found a local broker who provides good personal service and the rates are actually cheaper.

Worst service

Their contact centre people are terrible! Every time you called them they don't know anything. They keep telling you we will call back and nobody calls you back. 4 times I called them they keep transferring here and there and when I asked to speak to their supervisor they said they are not available. I mean are you guys crazy if you don't know anything I asked to escalate then they don't have a manager available... What the hell you guys are getting paid for. The worst experience with call centre representatives. The last time I spoke to a lady Julie who in return started shouting I was asking her something else she does not understand English she was replying something else.

lousy service

I spent over an hour yesterday trying to purchase both house and car insurance. After being placed on hold I was disconnected. The sales representative called back and spent another 10 minutes taking more info from me. In the middle of calculating my premiums, I was told that their computer crashed. So the representative made an appointment to call at a specific hour today. She did not call back. If a company can't service a buyer what a disaster it would be to have a claim. I will not be dealing with this company EVER
