CUMIS provides interprovincial service so you do not have to change the Insurer if you need to relocate from one province to another. Great customer service. Our claim, a car was written off, was handled promptly and efficiently.
My opinion/experience is as follows:
Be aware, In proving insurance to the general public - Cumis has their best interest in mind - not yours.
Their customer service is poor at best, and seemingly functions to frustrate rather than indentify and/or deliver any reasonable resolution(s) to problem(s) with their service or lackthereof.
Cumis "customer advocates" are disingenuously empathetic to be sure - and seemingly serve only to disseminate company policy and read from predetermined service scripts which advocate for little more than the company's bottom line.
