The people at TD were so helpful and easy to deal with after my car was damaged in a hit and run. They had my car fixed and back on the road in a week. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good insurance company. Thanks
They owe me money after I cancelled the policy renewal...I have complained about the reimbursement not being made three times...and I am still waiting for my money. Each time I am given a new date, which comes and goes without any reimbursement being made. Worst customer service ever...I will never use them again...and I was a customer since 1999.

Terrible wait time, over one HOUR...How is it that such a large company has a wait time of over an hour to talk to an agent?
TD is by far the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Every time I call its 2 hours of me sitting on hold. There customer service reps are rude and unprofessional. They charged me for a vehicle I don't even own anymore for 4 months before getting in touch with me. I magically owe them 163 dollars to cancel my policy that I already canceled. They are criminal stay away!
Increase premium every year without a reason, even you have a clean drive record and no claim for benefits. When you want want to change to another insurer. TD charges you even more for cancellation fee!!! Don't go with TD.
I had a minor accident in late January and by the end of April, I’ve revived 1 email stating my claim was being processed a week after my vehicle was already in the body shop. The parts used to repair my one-year-old truck were not factory parts from the manufacturer. Third party aftermarket parts were used and do not match the original build quality. My adjuster also has been absent the entire process and does not respond to email or voice message. Any time I need answers I have to wait on hold for over an hour, explain the entire experience, transfer to another department and repeat. I made the switch from Intact and it was a huge mistake. Stay with Intact if you’re currently with them.
I've been with TD in Ontario and then in Alberta for around 14 years, they always had the best rate and they give you quote quickly on the phone, great customer service and I had 3 no-fault claims which they handled fairly.

I was t-boned on HWY 69. Ontario driver of the other car was convicted and charged at civil court. For over two and half years TD insurance refusing to pay for my medication and after surgery treatment they paid $50000.00 for 1 1/2 year then they stopped. Two years after the accident I went for shoulder surgery. The insurance company refused to pay for medication and after surgery treatment after my next surgery I’m thinking to take the matters to CTV news Pat Foran
Bravo TD Auto Insurance! I was on a side street, and a car hit me on the right side of my car and drove off. I provided the licence plate to the representative, and within 2 days, I received a call from TD stating they had found the driver and provided me with details to have the front right side of my car repaired. TD followed up with me at before I dropped off the car and the following pick-up. I recommend TD insurance to anyone who is looking for quick, professional services, without long call wait-times and helpful services!
