I’m now going on over 4 weeks since the accident and the process is taking forever. I can’t ever get into contact with anyone. My agent now just went on vacation for the second time, so now I have to wait 5 days before I can get any answer. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they said they’ll call me back, it’s been two days and haven’t heard anything. I’m so frustrated with this company it’s very unorganized, and I’ll be switching company’s once this claim is done/ if that ever happens.
So we started with Sonnet back in 2022. We thought things were going well. In August 2023 we had a no-fault collision. It took over 2 weeks to submit our claim, and then we ended up having to tow the car to the shop ourselves. We had a rental car and the work took additional time, so we were left without a car. Then, our adjuster was let go, and so it took 4 months to get our $500 back. Now 1 year later and I receive an email stating that our policy was cancelled. After calling, I found out that they think one of our licenses expired. And the person on the phone said, “we should have sent you notification earlier”. Still haven’t heard back from the underwriting team, and now we have no insurance, and we are supposed to leave on a road trip…

I made a claim for my car a while ago and customer service would always give vague answers on the progress of the claim, or they just don't give you an answer. There must be a reason why getting a policy from them was so easy; it's because they will absolutely make you pay for that later on when you have to make a claim. They will make sure to make the experience as slow and frustrating as possible.
Great example of "you get what you pay for". They have lower rates, but you pay for it in other ways if you have a claim. Having an adjuster that doesn't answer calls or emails made it impossible to get a rental car (even though it was included with the insurance) after being rear ended. Car is getting repaired, but having to miss several days of work and pay a deductible for a not-at-fault accident is ridiculous. Though friendly, the people who answer calls say they have no way of helping- it's up to the non-responsive adjuster to approve the rental car. Being left stranded without a vehicle for several days without an adjuster to help has made this experience much more stressful. Save yourself some money and go with a reputable company, even if it means paying a bit more in premiums. It will pay off in the end if you ever make a claim.
I took my car to a shop I preferred and got very low interaction/communication from my adjusters. They would only follow up if I reached out to the Ombudsman. It's been over a year and they want to reveiw my file again.
If I can give minus stars I will give minus millions of trillions of stars, this company is not responsible nor respectful to their customers. After filing a claim, the assigned person never answers the phone nor email message. After over more than a month, tried to make complaints, the assigned person show up, and the only thing he did is tell you that this company do not responsible for the backorder part, which is against law. Moreover, he always tries to take back the rental car without fixing the insured car. Then the company does not answer your message anymore.
Horrible claims had to file claim twice. The adjuster did not answer emails or return calls in a sufficest manner.
Do yourself a favour don’t go with Sonnet!
I filed a claim. A month later, I am still chasing after my claim adjuster to find out when to bring in my car for repair.
I filed the claim and sent photos of my car as requested.
The Adjuster, Jeffery B, doesn’t reply to my emails, he calls after 2 weeks and has no idea I sent him an email. He says I will call you back right away I told you don’t answer back. He was not even apologetic.

These people are lazy and should not even work with wages. These people are a joke. First I have filed a claim and after three months of patiently waiting. I still have no response even after getting back to the adjuster that was on my case. I called and emailed, no response! So I decided to cancel my policy after a year, after that I got charge again for a new year term which I was not expecting because I turnoff auto re-new. The website is terrible, customer service and people who work here are terrible. We should start a class action suit.

Worst customer service experience ever, left dozens of voicemail and emails asking to speak to someone... not one reply. It took two weeks for them to tell me they were writing my car off, the rental they sent me had a blown transmission, lost thousands of dollars in work time dealing with their incompetence, and they're entirely virtual so the adjuster you're dealing with keeps changing. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
