Wish I had opted out of their service.

I had a short-term disability claim due to an injury, they use an application that directs their call directly to your voice mail so the phone doesn't ring at all... When you email the claim specialist they send you an auto-reply saying they're out of the office and also when you call the specialist they never answer so you have to leave a message so they can use the app and leave you a voice mail telling you to call them back. My claim still did not go through 2 years later. This is the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company. When you do get a hold of them they tell you they are reviewing the case... 2 years later. I wouldn't even insure my goldfish with these guys. Horrible I don't know how they're still in business.

Horrible service, ultimately quit my job rather than having to deal with the representative that cared more about costing me money on additional forms then reading what my doctor actually wrote in the replies. They then ask me for feedback on the claim, provide it as honestly and politely as possible, to have a “manager” call me to tell me I checked a box saying I needed her to call me. No, the box asks if it's okay if you call me - and you have a frustrated customer, and you think the best thing to do is call them to antagonize them without even offering an apology for a negative experience or any other half decent thing that could have been said to de-escalate. Will never use their services again, and the next time I'm helping decide on benefits' provider I will be making sure the company switches away from this provider.
