The mortgage process was smooth and rate wasn't the best but not the worst. I can see my mortgage online
Easy to deal with personnel - we went over everything and were able to finalize it. There were no issues, especially since we were moving from another province.
The mortgage rate was reasonable - industry standard. Customer service was helpful but pushy. Overall my experience was OK.

Scotiabank as my mortgage lender has a good rate, better than other bank, where, I think, my mortgage was set up initially. I can see my mortgage in online banking.
I went through a mortgage broker and she found two lenders for me to choose from. The better rate was at the Scotiabank.
Change of service representatives occurs too frequently. Sometimes within one year we would get two new representatives to our file without any notification from the institution.

They are very difficult to deal with. We will be moving our mortgage when it comes up for renewal. We prefer our credit union.
