Unexpected car repairs and loss of the second job resulted in missing a payment and being late on the payment after that. I called to ask for assistance in lowering the interest rate so that I could pay down the principal. I was informed that I would need to be ‘current’, all paid up, to be considered for their ‘hardship program’ and then the interest rate would be lowered. If I was all paid up and current, I wouldn’t need the hardship program! Out of all the customer service representatives I spoke to, only one understood what I was saying and he was the only one with any personality whatsoever. Their credit department called me NO LESS THAN 6 times every day! When I’d answer, nobody was there. Every time I called them, I was on hold for no less than 2 hours each time. Now, after being overdue for 3 months (I have been paying whatever I could each month) they have sent my account to a collection agency. TERRIBLE customer service and I would not recommend getting a PC Mastercard to ANYONE! Both of my kids and ex-husband have all cancelled their PC Mastercards because of the poor customer service. My other credit card company has stopped all interest for a FULL YEAR !! PC Mastercard needs to get in touch with real life.

This past spring I was tight for money. I was waiting on my tax return but the person who did my taxes messed up and I had to wait an extra 3 weeks to get my refund. I called PC to let them know my situation and I was gonna pay off my card in full. They told me I had to make my minimum payment or they would put a hold on my card, make me pay it off in full then they would decide if I can keep it or not. What kind of policy is that? I told them I wanted to speak to someone, they told me their supervisor would get back to me in 5-7 business days. Also, they have an overdraft on your credit card... and if you don't pay it down before your next expected payment. They will charge you an extra 29 dollars on top of the interest. They don't tell you that. They are crooks. I'm getting rid of my card asap. Their customer service is so poor. Save yourself the headache and avoid it at all costs.
