We had a couple of large snow storms and then some warm weather. We have a large deck on the second level of our vacation home. The snow melted and leaked in under our door sills and then caused water damage to the drywall in the basement, the carpet and exterior walls. The stone on the front of our house must be removed as there is water structural damage to the house. RBC/Aviva has been giving us the run-around for 6 weeks now. We have been passed from to 3 different people and had 2 adjusters over to meet our contractor. No recent communication with us. Our contractor is telling us we are only getting covered for 18000 and then we have a 2000 deductible. Our total claim is 38000. We can't believe how awful it is to get someone on the phone or communicate with us. We were told the first person went on maternity leave, the second one not sure why he’s gone and now this 3rd person. After this is done, we will be leaving this company.
