Wait, and wait some more

I had a claim related to a flood in my apartment and of course, TD insurance found a loophole in order to deny my coverage. I paid TD insurance money since 2001 and 20 years later when there was a problem in my apartment they did not cover the damages. We had a pipe leak in our condo and the laminate floor was damaged. The adjuster did everything possible to find a way not to pay for our claim. Please beware of TD insurance scam as they will make you live a living hell in case you have a claim. My advice is to stay away from TD Insurance and get a policy somewhere else. Huge scam!
Unfortunately, we had our house broken into. The first adjuster did not understand their job. Send forms with other client's names on them to us. TD does not follow the policy terms and conditions. In my opinion the employees are incompetent and unprofessional. We have had to take legal action against TD.
Canadians pay, on average, approximately $20 per month in tenants insurance. Do you rent or plan to rent a property and want to reduce insurance costs? We will help you get a cheap tenant insurance quote today.
I wouldn't trust it anymore after being a customer for more than 10 years. I did not advise on policy. Change around policy details. Always try to minimize their liability. You need a lawyer to read through the fine print. An adjuster is not on-site and relies on their subcontractors that aimed to maximize their own profit only at the customer's expense. No "real" person to talk to, during a crisis and after, except for 1-800 number with long wait time.

Today marks 2 months since my home flooded due to a pipe rupture and I am still living in a hotel. I am still awaiting the damage quote so that I can go ahead and start hiring contractors. Spent the first 2 weeks calling my assigned "agent" 2 or 3 times a day seeking help and answers to questions, left voicemails, and have literally spoken/received emails from said agent 3 times in 2 months. This service is not just this agent. The morning of the flood I was given the name and number of my agent, only to discover on my own through multiple calls, that indeed this person was on holiday. I was told another person would call me.... that never happened. Finally, my current agent reached out. That was easily a couple of days after the flood. I will likely switch all my insurance (house, car, truck, side x side, 2 snowmobiles) to another company as soon as I get a payout.
