As i bought a home , i approached the company for home insurance after sending me a quote they said they couldnt insure me, and woudnt give me a policy number. I was very disappointed as annual premium was low so i went and got another insurance company to insure me. 03 months later i recieve a letter from this company telling me i owe 03 months of insurance premium that is due. One i went through the hassle of disclosure and getting a quote then didnt recieve any policy and now i owe them money for giving me nothing but run around.

I would recommend never to go with Allstate insurance. Worst insurance company and I really mean that. First they sent me my car insurance renewal 2 weeks after my actual renewal date. When I complained someone replied back with excuses didn't even apologised about the mess. Now I am having issues with my home insurance. I found out that Allstate cancelled my insurance through my mortgage company that I don't have any home insurance.I never missed any payment. Reason Allstate gave me that they sent letters to get some information about the inspection which happened year ago.I told them I never received any letter about that and then the customer service person told me I have to wait for the Manager to call me back and I have live without insurance for whole day. I told the agent I won't have any insurance for whole I need this matter resolved ASAP and agent refused to help.

End result I am going with another company.

I am telling my family and friends never to get insurance with Allstate.

I cancelled my insurance as I found cheaper home insurance. 1 quarter of the price Allstate was charging. Without any notice, a collection company wrote me a letter claiming I owed Allstate $100. I was so angry. No notice was given to me at all. No statements or bills were ever forwarded and the agent did not advise me that I would be dinged with a cancellation fee after the fact. I am livid that insurance companies can get away with this.

ALLSTATE ARE SCHIESTERS...STAY AWAY.

After using this company for at least 20 years without one claim they charged me $258.00 for not renewing with them. I found cheaper insurance $800.00 cheaper. They even sent it to a collection agency I would never do business with them again!

I was a 12-year client, insuring my home and cars without shopping around. I phoned around for other quotes this year. I found out Allstate has been charging me twice as much as the others, for less insurance.
I called and asked why. They said they cannot answer that, the prices are determined by their central office.
