I was reared and it was obviously not my fault. They classified me a minor injury claim and I needed more treatment after my treatment plan expired. I was still in pain and they denied me claim. Instead they hired a private investigator follow me and watch my house. They intentionally prolonged my suffering!
We were with State Farm for 5 Years before they were bought out by Desjardin Insurance. Desjardin Insurance is not customer oriented. We stayed with them for another 5 years but every year they kept increasing insurance and asked for more and more information. We had no claim for 10 years. They started putting restrictions on use of commercial vehicles so we switched to another insured with better rates, service and have no issues now. Don't waste one penny of your money with this company. Stay away.

I had an accident more than a month ago. During the accident happened and entire time that the police had arrived at the scene, I was talking to the insurance agent on the phone, and at her suggestion, I moved my car to a towing parking lot, but after more than a month, the insurance company did not take my car out of the towing parking lot and didn’t transferred it to the repair shop. And every time I call, they just say they're sorry and say they'll be back soon, but they don't do anything else.
Their customer service is horrible. They lowball. The agent that I was dealing with was terrible. Did not respond to any emails. I would not recommend them.
I've been with with company for awhile I do not like how they work. Canceling was such a hassle and on top I had to pay 1 month premium for canceling on the Sept. 1 when I pay 25th of every month. I would not recommend this company. Overall the experience is not even mediocre.
I have been with Desjardins Insurance for many years and never had to make a claim. I also pay for "Valeur a neuf" which is supposed to restore your vehicle to a new one when in an accident. On June 12th of this year, I was rear-ended and they just finished repairs on my truck today (Oct 20th). When I picked up my truck the rear tail light was cracked and when I asked why it wasn't replaced they said it wasn't part of the accident, and refused to cover it. I would definitely stay away from this company they are thieves with a license.
I tried to get a quote from different companies. Dejardins had the best price for me, so I decided to go with that. They asked me for a lot of documents (which other companies never asked for) and explained that it was because of the area I lived in. I sent everything to them within hours, let them know that it's urgent. I was told it might take a couple of days...It took them 2 weeks!!! My quote was declined because "carfax report is more than a year old", which was not true. During this waiting period, I was calling and emailing them, asking what I could do to make the process go faster. It seemed like my agent didn't even care. I found a different company online, got my quote and purchased insurance within 15 minutes max. No extra pictures or papers required. Dejardins has terrible customer service. If you see bad reviews, trust them.
I have been with Desjardins for over 10 years, and my rates have been dropping steadily when keeping the same car. However, this year when my insurance was up for renewal, my rate went up by a whole 34% for the year. I contacted customer service, and they did not know what to tell me other than the area where I live rating was the cause. I have had zero claims or tickets, but yet they increased my premium by such a large amount instead of dropping! I have now cancelled all my policies from this greedy company.
Untruthful... It took forever to get renewal doc emailed called several times... Realize about 40% increased our auto saving claims on the type of brand in our postal code area... Then changed their excuses to use all non-fault no claim accidents. My words twisted on a report lied I have 5 ACCIDENTS when verified the rep just tried to skip, talk over me.....Very bad experience... Not worth my time, money and energy anymore.

I paid to get my car detailed, I have leather heated seats throughout. A few days after I got my car cleaned I went away in vacation and left my car in my dry underground parking garage for a few weeks. I came back to the worst mold infestation I and several other detailing companies have ever seen. Mold was on the steering wheel the side panelling of the door the seatbelts u name it. Obviously this was the fault of the detailer who must have used a compromised rag in my vehicle. I reported it to them, they dismissed my claim and didn’t go after the insurance of the shop instead told me take it to small claims this is why we pay for car insurance in this country for absolutely no reason we are being held hostage. We pay hundreds each month and they get to pick and choose when they help.
I had another claim where I was victim of hit and run and also struck directly by the driver as I was trying to take picture of their plate which I did get as well as make and model. The police were involved collision reporting informed of a site the insurance company could use to get the insurance details of the offending driver they refused to do so and I was left paying the deductible even thought there is a detective assigned to the case b/c of the damage and the assault. This is the help you get, you’re left paying they don’t investigate or seek justice for their customers they just take thousands from u each year and u never have peace of mind with having them as your broker. Run away!!!
