Sends letters to me in French only. This is Canada - get your act together. Also, let numerous messages and never get a response from the lady in charge of my file. This company is trash.
I dealt with a very incompetent company adjuster who had no idea how to investigate a simple claim.
I would never ever recommend anyone buying insurance from Pro-Mutuel because they just don't care.

Les agents qui repondent aux appels sont courtois, Malheureusement ils ne sont pas bien forme pour repondre aux demandes des clients.
Ils doivent frequement demander a leur superviseur des autorisation pour des sujets tres simples, ce qui nous prend un temps incroyables.
Les clients se font demander des question tres personelle et verifications de leur dossier de credit, antecedent judiciaire.
Cette compagnie ce permet de vous ridiculiser au telephone et de vous mentionner qu'ils ont le droit de choisir leur clientele.
Nous avons decider d'aller de l'avant et les comparer avec une autre compagnie pour voir leur prix. Le prix de promutuel etais pres du double des autres compagnies.

I am a client at Promutuel for over 5 years and recently had an accident that was not even my fault - the claim manager asked me to ask friends to pick up my vehicle from the crash site instead of having it towed. All of their agents make it difficult if not impossible to reach them by not leaving extension numbers or leaving messages on your answering machine that no one can understand. The phone system they use doesn't always function either as I got kicked out of the waiting line multiple times. Customer service at its worst !! My recommendation: stay away from this company!!!

Never again will I ever do business with your company... While other insurance companies were reducing people's rates because of Covid you attempted to raise my rate by 205% with no claims and no tickets on my record... After months of fighting this observed increase, I finally decided to cancel my policy with you because you were standing your ground telling me there is nothing you can do and this is the rate... Ironically when I told you to cancel my policy you came back within an hour with a $600 reduction.
After 20-plus years of being a faithful customer, you will never ever see another dime.
