Nothing out of the ordinary, took their time to settle the claim
ICBC is THE cadillac of auto insurance companies. They are more than helpful, experienced and what I have found over several insurance claims is that they are very human and compassionate. It doesn't matter who I have talked with or dealt with on any of my claims, you honestly feel like they really care about you and you are not just another customer. Everything is done to make the claim go as fast as possible, they call to make sure you are getting everything you need and while I didn't always like the decision they made I completely understood why they had to make it. Everyone always took the time to explain why to me, no one ever was dismissive to me and my 300 questions, they took the time to make sure I understood and was ok with the decision. Never did I feel like it was "just because that's the way it is". I wish all public companies operated the way ICBC does and hired such caring and compassionate staff.
Currently I have a claim in progress, I have not heard back from my adjuster despite numerous calls and messages left for him. Part of my claim had been declined and I was told that my full claim would be closed with no explanation. When I phoned for further information my phone call was never returned nor have I heard anything or received anything from then since; this happened in August with the car accident happening in May. Very poor customer service.
