I was told that insurance would not be back dated eventhough I had not owned the car since Feb 2015 and it had been transferred feb 25 by the new owner. The representative said it was because i had not returned the plates. And that eventhough I had another vehicle insured I could have used the many benefits of the insurance like 10 day coverage. I realize I should have cancelled it but based on the facts i don't see why a refund can't be processed, except that ICBC is a bunch of scammers that will take whatever they want as they are a monopoly and their is nothing we can do about it.
Having only one insurance provider (ICBC) is a disaster for BC ...
