Dreadful service.

Terrible customer service! they don't take any responsibility and try to blame you for the lack of communication and customer service. I prepaid my insurance for months in advance, I knew it was about to expire on September. I was ready to renew the insurance and when I call to pay on Sep. 15th they told me that my insurance expired on September 9th. So I was driving without any insurance and nobody called me or notified me of anything! I was very upset with the situation. But they just asked me if I wanted to renew or not. Not apology or any effort of making up to me. Zero customer service. I won't recommend them at all. I also had several problems with them before. But that was to worse one.
My partner was involved in an accident that was deemed to be 100% the other parties fault. There is honestly so many horrible things that have occurred (in regards to Allstate’s customer service), that it is impossible to fit this into a single review.
Long story short, it took over a month for an adjuster to reach out. They low-balled the repair costs, resulting it going into the shop, and them claiming it was a write off. They offered no car rental. They then offered 50% market value of the vehicle, which we disputed. Over 3 months later, and being escalated several times to the “top of the claims department” we have been ignored. Best part? After waiting for a respectable offer, the heads of the claims department expressed a dire interest to leave lawyers out of this situation, and then offered us $1.68 less than the original offer for the pain and suffering through this ordeal. This is honestly insulting, and those who pretend to care should be ashamed.
We have reached out to our personal lawyer and are in the process of filing a lawsuit.
To summarize, this company is a scam. No one in this company cares about their customers and will fight tooth and nail to rip you off.
I was paying 600$ monthly for home and auto but when I had accident. They do not responce to any request and do not care for clients. I am waiting for two years no claim payments. They bribe lawyers for not to pay. And not work properly and ignore your case. So even with lawyers you get to nowhere.
TD insurance should change it's name, it's not an insurance, it's a terminator, adding insults to pain.
Our truck battery died, we called Allstate to see if they could help us. They sent a driver who said we weren't covered to get towed because of the area we were in, so already waiting for hours he LEFT US STRANDED, circling on the phone again until we had to call Allstate again and they said we ARE covered and sent another tow who actually knew their job. I had my cats in the boiling hot truck and I can't take them out fearing they'd get sick from mosquitoes that were heavy in the area. So we continue on our trip, pop a tire and have to call Allstate again. Lady left us waiting on the phone for 20 minutes just to tell us we're not covered to get our trailer towed along with our truck only the truck is insured. EXCEPT THE PREVIOUS TOW ALREADY TOOK OUR TRAILER. Nobody knows the policies or their job descriptions, learn how to do your jobs or don't offer insurance to people.

I called a week and a half ago and was told to go online to cancel my auto insurance. Today I had to call them back to actually cancel and speak to someone. I again called them back and Antonia was quite dismissive and condescending. I asked to talk to a supervisor or manager to complain and request that tapes be pulled to validate. She said it’s not possible to speak to anyone but she can give me the ombudsman phone number. Seriously???
I thought Allstate actually cared about clients and having an optimal team, it is clearly stated over and over as I waited on hold. Perhaps some customer care training is required for the front line.
Horrible customer service, definitely do not care about customers at all.
Don't use Allstate. They're the worst!
I paid every month for my car insurance and when I have an accident they denied my claim and they even didn't let me know! Either

If there is a zero here I would choose it. It’s already been months since my car got stolen and the adjuster assigned to me called me only once. I need updates on what is happening and what's gonna happen next. It is really tiring to call claim services for almost every day and they just gonna tell you to call your adjuster who doesn’t care. It’s so frustrating.

I had the worst experience with Allstate.
I had a minor ticket (Failed to carry insurance paper while driving), as that was a rental car, and the rental agency took the papers out while cleaning and forgot to put that back. So I get the ticket which was paid for by the rental company.
But I had no idea that time it will show up on my license.
To prove this I had to share all my chats and screenshots with Allstate.
I did that and they asked me to pay for the policy to start. I did the payment a day before my insurance start date. They called me to increase my premium by $600cad.
I told them to cancel my policy and they called back and said ok we will keep it the same.

I have been with Allstate for several years we have all our vehicles and residence insurance, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE SERVICE???? I spent almost 2 hours waiting to speak to representative... we originally spoke to broker who gave us incorrect information, we discovered this when transferred through to claims for new windscreen, the rep was polite at first then became irate we asked to speak to supervisor he refused and was starting to act offensively. I spoke to him explained how we didnt want to fight the world is in chaos right now we just want to speak to supervisor as if broker giving out incorrect information IT needed to clarified... he cut us off!!! My advice to ALLSTATE.... HIRE SENIORS WHO WOULD ENJOY STILL BEING PART OF WORKING WORLD... COMMON SENSE WOULDNT BE SUCH A PROBLEM WHEN DEALING WITH YOUR REPRESENTATIVES.
